Thank you for your words and transparency on your personal application of this great truth. I believe this is a "keystone" passage to understanding the great sweep of scriptures and God's Mission (missio Dei). The more we understand the core of this passage the more we understand about Go, and our calling to work with Him for the reconciliation of a broken world.

Thanks for this reminder... how easy it is to slip into really just thinking about bringing blessing to myself. I'd never say it that way, but isn't that what I so often want? Maybe my family too, but all too often not much broader than that. I really doubt that God has so richly blessed me for me to so narrowly share the blessing...

Mostly right now in my life I choose to be a blessing by living according to three current focus areas:
*Living in the right now
*Staying connected to God
*Always being conscious that it's not all about me.
As I stay in this frame of reference, I'm becoming aware of God's constant blessing in my own life. I'm frequently seeing very specific ways I can bless the people He's put in my life. Some of these ways are requiring some real stretching on my part and I'm so grateful that I can always count on Him to empower me to do whatever He wants.

I have thought about how I can be a blessing to God many times. I finally asked Him and He said to me, "my life is a testimony of His love grace and mercy. I am merely to share my testimony with others so they can see, feel and believe in the power of God." My life, all that I am is how I share God to others. Many have asked how I live my life so happily and joyously. I tell them about Christ and all that He has done for me. This is what God wants me to do and this is what I must do. Blessings my friend.
